After you watched the music video ,will you ask a question of 'what is it talking about?' Will you feel confuse?
You can say that the video is not that good,becuse all you can see is that:A ‘silly’ guy is walking in the tunnel which is full of cars passing through . The guy looks so miserable and sad . The coat he wears and the look of him make a perfect match -both are dirty and give you a sad feeling. It might want to show you a sad sight, but for me, it shows me a horrible sight- violence. The man is crashed by a car, and a car, and a car… Some may give him a way to go, or even asking him ‘where are you going?’ THere is no response at all! The guy becomes angrier and angrier, and even takes off his clothes. This makes you feel‘disgusting’.
Actually, does the video only want to show this, violence and sadness ? Of course there are good points, the song is very nice, and it is full of expressions, the theme is not that good for some people, but I think there is a deep meaning there: a man who is‘crashed’ by a car, at first he gets time to stand up again, then(the next time) a little time , finally , he is theone who crash the car! How incredible he is ! He is getting stronger and stronger . It’s nonsensical actually, how come a man is hit by cars for so many times and they didn’t die or injur? I am sure that the actor wants to tell us that –this is the reality of the society- be strong , otherwise , people may not keep an eye on you, or even lookdown you, better ones may ask you ‘are you okay?’ or’ where are you going?’. So, ‘be strong, be yourself , solve the problem of the cruel reality’ may be the thing that the music video wants to tell us, that is only my point of view, you have to understand thatby yourself, because you may have a better idea ! : )
In conclusion, it is good or bad, it’s just what you judge,it is probably how much you understand. This is a good and famous music video. Moreover,if the meaning brings clearer, and it is not giving some people that the whole theme is quite violence, (like me) it will be a really really fabulous story with perfect sound!!:D
